Hi! How is your day going? I haven’t shared a comparison with you in a while, so today I wanted to share with you a new one. Specifically, I’m going to talk about sunscreens. A few months ago I published a fairly extensive comparison of sunscreens, but today I will focus exclusively on the Purito ones.

Some may think it’s strange to talk about sunscreen at the beginning of winter, but it is important to remember that it must be used throughout the year. Ultraviolet radiation does not disappear in winter (and it definitely does not stop harming your skin), so it is essential that you keep it protected to avoid serious health problems and photo aging. Remember, if for some reason you can only use a skincare product go for the sunscreen.

If there is one thing that I like about all the products that I am going to talk about in this comparison, it is that they are all SPF50 and PA++++, so they all give us excellent protection against UVA and UVB radiation, ensuring that your skin can comfortably face the sun.

Do you want to know which Purito sunscreen I like the most and why? Let’s see them!

1. PURITO CENTELLA GREEN LEVEL SAFE SUN.

This was the first Purito sunscreen I tried. As I mentioned in this other comparison, this sunscreen with chemical filters has a fantastic texture, soft, light and very easy to absorb. However, it has a great disadvantage (at least for my taste): its lavender fragrance makes the experience lose all its charm. Those of you who read me often will know that I do not like perfume products very much (and that I try to avoid essential oils), after all it is something unnecessary and that it can make the experience very positive for some (but also very negative for those with sensitive skin). I can’t stand the smell of lavender in cosmetic products, and in this one it’s too strong, so much so that despite liking the texture, I wouldn’t buy it again for that reason.

INGREDIENTS:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dibutyl Adipate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, 1,2 Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Silica, Cetearyl Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Tocopherol, Sorbitan Olivate Glyceryl Stearate SE, Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Sorbitan Stearate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

2. PURITO CENTELLA GREEN LEVEL UNSCENTED SUN.

A few months ago, Purito launched this sunscreen. I want to stop for a minute to share a thought: this brand knew how to listen to their clients and followers and developed a new sunscreen with all the good parts of the previous one but without its overwhelming smell.

This is how Centella Green Level Unscented Sun was born: it is a version without essential oils of the previous product, so those who have the most sensitive skin can use it with a much lower probability to find it irritating. In addition, in the composition they have included new compounds derived from centella asiatica, which you already know that has calming properties and that can help precisely those with sensitive skin.

As I said, this sunscreen keeps that texture that I like so much, light and not greasy at all. It is absorbed in an instant and leaves amazing sensations on the skin. I am in awe with this sunscreen, clearly Purito has listened to us and they have released one of the best products on the market. Without a doubt, this sunscreen is one of my favorites, I’m sure I’ll buy it again.

3. PURITO COMFY WATER SUN BLOCK.

In general, I prefer chemical sunscreens to those that incorporate physical filters (although there are exceptions). More often than I would like, sunscreens with physical filters leave a whitish residue (white cast) that usually disappears and makes the experience not exactly the best. However, in this case Purito have managed to develop a new sunscreen with physical filters and that leaves no residue.

This sunscreen is incredibly light, it has a texture similar to the others of the brand, which I really appreciate. In addition, despite incorporating lavender oil (which, as I said, I do not like), it does not have a perfume that stands out, but is very neutral in terms of fragrance.

Although I really liked the experience with this one, I recognize that in its composition I find details that place it below the Centella Green Level Unscented Sun (such as incorporating the lavender oil that I mentioned or orange peel oil), so although I am happy with it, I think I keep as the second of the comparison.

INGREDIENTS:
Water, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Zinc Oxide, Silica, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Stearic Acid, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Madecassic Acid, Asiatic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Lauroyl Lysine, Disodium EDTA, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Adenosine, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer.
