Este serum antioxidante incluye entre sus ingredientes diversos extractos de bayas que actúan de forma sinérgica para prevenir la proliferación de radicales libres (moléculas que atacan a nuestra piel como consecuencia de la exposición a la radiación ultravioleta, principalmente). Aunque nuestro organismo tiene su propio sistema antioxidante, al utilizar un serum como este complementamos al protector solar frente a esos radicales libres. La textura de este producto es un punto a favor, ya que es un gel bien equilibrado que no resulta demasiado pesado ni demasiado ligero. This antioxidant serum includes several berry extracts among ints ingredients, acting synergically to prevent the proliferation of free radicals (molecules that attack our skin mainly due to UV radiation exposure). Even though our organism has its own antioxidant system, by using a serum like this one we complement sunscreen to fight against those free radicals. To me, the texture of this serum is quite nice, since it’s a well-balanced gel that isn’t too heavy or too light. However, I think if I had to pick an antioxidant, I would rather go for vitamin C, niacinamide or superoxide dismutase. Have you tried this serum? What’s your favorite antioxidant? En la anterior guía vimos que escoger el limpiador corporal adecuado puede ser clave para empezar con buen pie nuestras rutinas de cuidado corporal. La piel del cuerpo no es menos importante que la del rostro, así que debemos continuar esa rutina hidratándola y protegiéndola de la radiación ultravioleta para evitar el envejecimiento prematuro y la aparición de enfermedades cutáneas. Hay muchas zonas que no protegemos lo suficiente (como las manos o el escote), por lo que envejecen con más facilidad que otras que acostumbramos a cubrir con la ropa, pero podemos prevenirlo. There are many areas we don’t usually protect correctly (such as our hands or cleavage), so they age faster than other ones that we usually cover with our clothes, but we can prevent that. Besides that, using the right cosmetics may help us provide actives to tackle our body’s skincare needs, for example by using a moisturizer with salicylic acid in areas where you usually get acne. 🇬🇧▼ Ya puedes leer en mi blog mi review del @niod CAIL (link en mi perfil)! Clasificar este producto es un poco difícil, aunque quizás lo más acertado sería llamarlo sleep mask (mascarilla nocturna). Tiene una base de escualano que ayuda a prevenir la pérdida transepidérmica de agua y que funciona de maravilla en pieles secas. Ten en cuenta que no necesitas mucha cantidad de producto en cada uso (el equivalente a un guisante), pero si tu piel es grasa puede resultarte pesado. Entre sus ingredientes encontramos péptidos de cobre (GHK-Cu), que promueven la síntesis de colágeno y elastina, por lo que te ayuda a enfrentarte a arrugas y líneas de expresión. Además, funciona genial para prevenir la irritación y proteger tu barrera de la piel (por ejemplo, las noches que no uses retinoides). It has a squalane base that helps prevent transepidermal water loss and that works wonders on dry skin. Keep in mind that you don’t need much product on each application (the equivalent to a pea), but if you have oily skin it may feel a bit overwhelming. Among its ingredients we find copper peptides (GHK-Cu), which promote collagen and elastin production, so it tackles wrinkles and fine lines. Besides that, it works wonders to prevent irritation and protecting your skin barrier (for example, the nights you don’t use retinoids) I needed some time to adapt to its finish, but it certainly is a good product. We must keep in mind that exfoliating acids promote cell turnover, so an excess turns into an impaired skin barrier. If you overexfoliate it’s important to stop using acids until your skin recovers its balance. Besides that, you should aim to use ingredients like niacinamide or ceramides.
