Night routine for oily skin

Header The Moisturizer - Night routine for oily skin
Is your skin oily? Do you want a good skincare routine to help you rebalance your skin oil? This is it! On this night routine for oily skin you will find some amazing cosmetics from great beauty brands like The Ordinary and Klairs, let’s see if they’re the right fit for your night beauty routine!

Hello! How are you? Last week I shared with you a routine that I really wanted to publish: my night routine to reduce wrinkles. In that post I gave you a few tricks to improve your night routines if what you are interested in is reducing fine lines.

In this post I will give you a few tricks for those who, like me, have oily skin and aim to keep your oil levels balanced while hydrating your skin in depth. As you know, those of us with oily skin must be very cautious with cleansing, we should not abuse it if we do not want to achieve the opposite result, since a very aggressive cleanse ends up dehydrating the skin, unbalancing the hydrolipidic barrier so that it generates more oil.

In this post I am going to talk about several products that work great to keep the skin clean, nourished and well hydrated. Among the products included in this routine are:

.

1. THE ORDINARY SQUALANE CLEANSER.

Ever since I started double cleansing I don’t look back. Starting your routine with a good like this oil-based one from The Ordinary is key (here you can check my complete review). It has a very comfortable, lotion-like texture that turns into a very gentle oil while applying it. It’s the perfect product to start double cleansing.

INGREDIENTS:
Squalane, Aqua (Water), Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Glycerin, Sucrose Stearate, Ethyl Macadamiate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sucrose Laurate, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Sucrose Dilaurate, Sucrose Trilaurate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Isoceteth-20, Sodium Polyacrylate, Tocopherol, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Malic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chlorphenesin.

You can get the The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser on DECIEM (recommended) and on SkinStore.

2. KLAIRS GENTLE BLACK SUGAR CHARCOAL SOAP.

You already know that lately I am in a phase of discovering Korean cosmetics, trying a lot of products and incorporating them into my beauty routines to see how they feel on my skin. In this case, I bring you a Klairs cleansing soap that’s great for oily skin because of its composition, which is rich in sugar, charcoal and jojoba oil.

It’s important to use this gently, since an aggressive cleanse can be very counterproductive (yes, even if you have oily or combination skin).

INGREDIENTS:
Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil, Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Theobroma Cocoa (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Grapeseed Oil, Blackstrap Powder, Dl-ΑTocoperol, Volcanic Ash, Ghassoul, Charcoal, Lavender Oil , Eucalyptus Oil.

You can get the Klairs Gentle Black Sugar Charcoal Soap on Wishtrend and on Yesstyle..

3. PIXI GLOW TONIC.

Those who know me better know that I am very happy with this toner (as I explained on its review). Its composition, with glycolic acid (an AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is excellent for removing dead skin so that it absorbs better the rest of your skincare routine. In addition, this toner will help your skin look firmer and smoother, making it a great anti-aging solution. Since we shouldn’t abuse exfoliating acids, I’d recommend you to use it every other day (or just twice a week), so you may combine it with this other hydrating toner from Pyunkang Yul.

INGREDIENTS:
Water / Aqua / Eau, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycolic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Hexylene Glycol, Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Urea , Dextrin, Alanine, Glutamic Acid, Aspartic Acid, Hexyl Nicotinate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Biotin, Panthenol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum), Caramel, Red 4 (CI 14700).

You can get the Pixi Glow Tonic on Amazon. .

4. THE ORDINARY HYALURONIC ACID 2% + B5.

It’s been a while since I first told you about this wonderful serum, but I do not tire of recommending it. Since I started using it I am very happy with the result. It is an effective and nutritious serum that gives your skin the hydration it needs thanks to its composition rich in hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5. For its part, hyaluronic acid hydrates your skin in depth, while vitamin B5 gives you superficial hydration that gives you a more rejuvenated and active look.

INGREDIENTS:
Aqua (Water), Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentylene Gycol, Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Panthenol, Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract, Glycerin, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Citric Acid, Isoceteth-20, Ethoxydiglycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, 1.2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.

You can get the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 from The Ordinary on DECIEM (recommended), on SkinStore and on FeelUnique..

5. THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1%.

Niacinamide is a wonderful ingredient for those with combination or oily skin. It has several properties that can work wonders for us, since it both reduces excess oil production while reducing redness. Niacinamide has become a key part of my skincare routines for quite some time, I’m sure once you start using it you’ll love it too.

INGREDIENTS:
Aqua (Water), Witch Hazel Virginiana Leaf Water, Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Salicylic Acid, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Ethoxydiglycol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, 1,2-hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.

You can get the serum The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% on DECIEM (recommended), on SkinStore and on FeelUnique..

6. THE ORDINARY CAFFEINE SOLUTION 5% + ECGC.

Those of you who have been following me for some time already know that this eye contour is one of my favourite products of The Ordinary. This is an eye contour rich in antioxidants that will come great to reduce your bags and dark circles, minimize congestion and give you a younger, active and healthy.

INGREDIENTS:
Aqua (Water), Caffeine, Maltodectrin, Glycerin, Propanediol, Epigallocatechin, Gallatyl Glucoside, Gallyl Glucoside, Hyaluronic Acid, Oxidized Glutathione, Melanin, Glycine Soybean (Soybean) Seed Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polyacrylate Crosspoymer-6, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Propyl Gallate, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Benzyl Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhecylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.

You can get the Caffeine Solution 5% + ECGC from The Ordinary on DECIEM (recommended), on SkinStore and on FeelUnique..

I have oily skin and The Ordinary’s HA+B5 is very thick and sticky for my liking. It feels like it stays on the surface of the skin without properly getting absorbed.

I have tried Marine Hyaluronis from The Ordinary which is a better option and is thinner.
