REVIEW: NIOD Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2:1 (CAIS 2)

Cabecera The Moisturizer - REVIEW: NIOD Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2:1
Today I will review one of my absolute favorite skincare products. The NIOD Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2:1 (CAIS 2) has a blend of great ingredients, among which we find an amazing active: copper peptides. They’re a great way to keep your skin barrier balanced and to prevent early signs of aging, let’s see how!

Hello! How’s your week going? Today I am finally going to talk about my experience with the NIOD CAIS 2. I have been using it for a few months and I really wanted to tell you how it works. Since I use it, it has become one of the staples in my PM routines. Do you want to know why? Let’s go!

You can get the serum NIOD Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2:1 (CAIS 2) on DECIEM (recommended).

When they contacted me from DECIEM to offer me some of their products, I did not hesitate, I wanted to finally try the Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2: 1 (CAIS 2) from NIOD. I had been reading great opinions for a while and I wanted to know if it really was worth it or if it had just been hyped. Well I have to admit that it is impressive, a product that really shows proper results overnight, let me tell you my experience so you can know it a little better.

The guys from DECIEM designed this serum as a way to reduce the signs of aging, improving the production of collagen and skin repair through copper peptides, of which it includes 2% (much more than other products on the market). In our skin, peptides exist naturally, they are in charge of notifying the skin that it is necessary to produce more collagen (responsible for keeping the skin firm) but its presence diminishes with the time, so when applied within this sort of products we help our skin to stay alert. In addition, it carries other types of peptides, which make up 22% of its composition (which is not bad at all), to help keep the skin firm and elastic, helping to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Long story short, it is a very effective anti-aging cocktail to help you keep your skin young.

The Moisturizer - REVIEW: NIOD Copper Amino-Isolate Serum 2:1

The first thing that draws attention from this product is that you receive two glass containers, both with UV protection, one with a metal lid and the other with a dropper. The first is the activator, while the second is a copper concentrate. When you want to start using it you will have to add all the content of the activator to the copper concentrate, shake this second one well and it’ll be ready to go. It is a very curious process to see, since both products are transparent, but when mixing them there is a very bright blue cocktail.

And now that you know the product well it’s time to tell you about my experience. As I was saying, the final product has a bright blue color. Its texture is very thin and watery, very light, so it dries quickly when applied. In fact, I think it’s better to apply it with the fingertip and then massage it instead of doing it directly with the palms of your hands, since otherwise it might give you the feeling that you are not applying anything. It has a very characteristic scent, it reminds me of Cheetos, barbecue sauce or something like that. I do not exactly love it for a serum, but that’s not what matters to me. As I have already told you on other times, I care much more about the effectiveness of the products than their scent.

The first night I used this serum the expectations were truly high. It is supposed to be one of the best products of NIOD, the premium range of DECIEM, would it be up to the hype? Well, it turns out that it does. Overnight I noticed an amazing change in my fine lines, I saw them much smoother. It is difficult to find a product that provides such an immediate result, so I kept waiting to see the results after a proper period of regular use. Now that a couple of months have passed and I have been using it daily in my night routines, I recognize that my lines of expression have diminished and I notice a younger look in my skin.

For me, this serum has been a discovery. If you’re looking to improve the appearance of your wrinkles and fine lines it is a great solution. In my case, as I said, the result was immediate, although with the passage of time has been settling and stabilizing. I recommend it completely, for me it is a great product.

The first time you are going to use this product you will have to combine the activator and the copper concentrate. To do this, add the activator to the copper concentrate, close the container and shake well. Then you only have to use 4 or 5 drops of the serum in your morning and evening routines. If you want some advice, put the drops in the palm of your hand and take them with the tip of your finger to apply them well and spread them over the areas that most concern you.

This graphic aims to help you understand in which part of your skincare routine you should use each product.
You don’t need to do all the steps from this routine (but you should always cleanse, moisturize and use sunscreen).
Remember it’s key to do a patch test every time you consider adding new products to your skincare routine.
